My single goal since I graduated from design school is to find a creative, innovative group who love what they do as much as I do. I believe that work can be fun and rewarding when you are doing what you love, and it is even better when working in a creative environment with people who feel the same way.
| 2005-2007 | Commareus New Media Design Founding Partner / Creative Director As a founding partner at Commareus, I worked on dozens of web-related projects. The focus of the company at the time was on cutting-edge CSS with dinstinct, unique web page design. Although most development was on those two elements, I did do additional work in Flash, video editing, photography, and videography.
As Creative Director, I managed many projects at once from many clients, as well as organized and distributed work for other employees in the company.

| 1999-2005 | Adopt-A-Video of Leominster District / Store manager Starting as a clerk and moving my way up granted me many responsibilities and trust from the video rental store owner. I handled the day-to-day activities of my own store, as well as managing and hiring employees at the other 2 locations. In the last year, I started using simple tools like Print Shop to create all promotional material for the store, including all signage, brochures, and many custom DVD covers.

| 1995-1999 | Various Retail and Food Service Companies Clerk / Crew Trainer / Assistant Manager Started at McDonald's at 15 and moved up as much as I could at that age. I then moved on to Blockbuster Video where I was the youngest Assistant Manager in the district. |
Clark University Computer Career Institute
9 month program
Web design fascinated me, so I attended the Clark University CCI graphic design course. The course covered 5 major areas of design: web, graphic, print, video, and 3D. The majority of the time was spent on web and graphics, and my previous interest in art and design came in handy.
I was taught CSS and HTML from Ken Alderfer who is a very successful designer himself. I attended the CSS course twice voluntarily to be sure I could get as much out of it as possible. I left with near-perfect grades and the school used my class portfolio for advertising to new prospective students.
I have taken an active interest in expanding my capabilities outside of a school environment. Not only do I love what I do, but I love reading about new techniques and tricks to make the work better.
I am well trained and experienced in the following areas of design and software:
I am also familiar with the following tools:
| Premiere Pro | 3DS Max | InDesign |
| After Effects | BaseCamp | Fireworks |
| Lightroom | Kuler |
Below are some samplings of the sites I have either designed and coded or just coded into table-less CSS. Since the focus of my work has been mostly in templates for other web organizations to then fill with content, many of the links are to the template - usually only the index page. Since these buttons link to a new window, you may want to middle-click the links so they open in a new tab.
Thank you for checking out my portfolio and resume.
